The Traci With An Eye Mysteries book series is about a young sleuth named Traci who shares the mysteries she solves with her video blog/podcast audience. There are currently three installments in the series. The series touches on topics relatable to girls and teaches key life lessons that the audience can apply to their daily lives. It's an excellent tool for book clubs and group settings.
book one - the case of the peculiar pooch
In The Case Of The Peculiar Pooch, Traci With An Eye, an 11-year-old aspiring private investigator, takes on her first official investigation. One night, while gearing up to watch an evening of mystery marathons, she receives a mystery of her own - a phone call from her best friend Vito in desperate need of her help. Traci With An Eye must focus on collecting all of the clues to find out why Vito's dog Diamond is behaving so strangely. Will she find all of the clues and crack the case, or will her first official case break her?
book two - the case of sandra the sham
The Case of Sandra The Sham is about a new member named Sandra, that joined the book club where Traci is a member. She seems to be the best thing since the invention of chocolate cake with vanilla bean ice cream, but, turns out to be a big sham. This mystery has many twists and turns and layers of lies that Traci has to sift through. Will she discover the truth?
book three - the case of the invisible danger
Now 12 years old and entering the 8th grade, Traci With An Eye is involved in a dangerous investigation. In her newest adventure, “The Case of the Invisible Danger,” Traci introduces her video blog followers to her newly created mystery club, “The Sleuth Girls,” with friends she met over the summer at a mystery drama camp for girls. She also introduces her followers to her new school, Cam Ross Scholastic Academy. Because Traci is a new incoming 8th grader, she is placed in the school’s buddy system called Team Up, where she is partnered with 9th grader Chase Hunter. On the surface, Chase seems to be a friendly and health-conscious 14-year-old, but underneath the surface, she has a secret life that puts her in danger. Traci and The Sleuth Girls work with local authorities to solve the mystery, hoping to reach Chase in time.
